Hila

Shalom!
My name is Hila, I`m originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, I recently finished my PhD (in Israeli studies) at SOAS, University of London. I published the book "Hebrew for All" (Haifa: Pardes, 2020) which focuses on approaching the Hebrew language through feminist methods.
I`m friendly, organized and very professional teacher. Learning Hebrew with me is both interesting and fun.

I`m currently away for field work in Berlin but i still teach my students via skype. It works great and even saves time commuting )

I have been working as a Hebrew teacher for more then 6 years. I have taught in synagogues, Sunday school, in privet schools and in several academic institutions.

I strongly believe in learning while using materials and topics that are related to the students. Which is why I prepare different classes and different reading material for each of my students.

I always have a first meeting or talk with my students, understanding where he or she stands, what is their level, why do they need Hebrew (for research? for family occasion? religious reasons?) and I structure my classes based on the needs and the objective of the students.

Availability: I Offer classes at any time of day, weeks ends as well
