Problem solving Chemistry tutor

Committed science teacher, with a chemistry specialism, that aims to do all that I can to support and help students with their learning and understanding of chemistry, biology and physics. 3 years teaching experience with additional work done at marking GCSE papers for 2 of the exam boards.

Always looking for new ways to help my students understand the numerous concepts throughout the sciences and always willing to try and go the extra mile to help them achieve the grade they deserve.

With a background in analytical and forensic chemistry, my strengths are in finding the solutions and problem solving to deduce different and meaningful approaches towards the same topic content, especially when the student finds difficulties going down a certain path. Helping them identify that they do have the ability to succeed and being patient when helping them build their confidence and self belief towards the subject.

Availability: Evenings and weekends along with anytime throughout the summer holidays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: 4 years of teaching science to classes from year 7 to year 13, with a specialism in chemistry and marking GCSE papers for 2 of the exam boards.
