Experienced history teacher and examiner.

I have been teaching for 5 years in state comprehensive schools where I have consistently achieved excellent results.

My expertise as a GCSE and A-Level examiner mean that I am able to identify areas that children struggle with and have a wealth of successful strategies to improve outcomes.

I have taught for all major exam boards on topics including:
- Modern World (e.g. international relations)
- Medicine and Health Through Time
- Crime and Punishment Through Time
- Germany, 1890-1945
- USA, 1954-75 including Vietnam
- Anglo-Saxon and Norman England

Availability: Most evenings, can be tailored to suit.

£30 for 90 minute session as I feel 1 hour is too little time.

Experience: Head of History at a Leeds school, experienced teacher of History at GCSE and A-Level. I have taught OCR Modern World, AQA A and B specifications as well as the new Edexcel Specification at GCSE. I am also an examiner at GCSE and have also undertaken AS examining.

I have DBS checks and Qualified Teacher Status.
