Hi, I`m Ali — a Maths and Science tutor with a real passion for helping students understand tricky concepts and reach their full potential. I graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics, and I`m currently doing a PhD in Physics.
I tutor Maths and Science across all levels — Primary, GCSE and A-Level. Having studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Advanced Further Mathematics at A-Level (with 5 A*s overall), I`m able to teach every branch of maths, including pure mathematics, statistics, mechanics and decision.
I tailor every session to the individual student — their level, pace and goals — and focus on building genuine understanding and confidence rather than just memorising answers.

Experience: I`m currently doing a PhD in Physics, and I have years of teaching experience across a range of settings — from classroom teaching in schools to lecturing and teaching at university level. This means I`m equally comfortable explaining the fundamentals to a younger student and stretching an A-Level or undergraduate student aiming for top grades.
My academic background underpins my teaching: a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics from Loughborough University, along with 5 A*s at A-Level, including Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Advanced Further Mathematics. As a result, I can confidently tutor all areas of maths — pure, statistics, mechanics and decision — as well as Science up to A-Level.
Years in the classroom and lecture hall have given me a strong sense of how students learn, where they tend to get stuck, and how to break difficult topics into clear, manageable steps. I`m experienced in preparing students for exams — covering technique, past papers and time management alongside the content itself — and I tailor everything to the individual student.
