I am a researcher and teacher, and I hold a PhD in English and Performance Studies from King`s College London. My specialist research interests are in literature, performance, and gender - though I have a range of teaching and research experience. I live in London and for February and March I will be tutoring online only.

Experience: I have several years` worth of teaching experience, both as a private tutor and as a university lecturer. Last year, I was a full-time Lecturer in Theory and Performance in the English Department at King`s College London. I gave lectures and led seminars in a range of subjects across English, Theatre and Performance Studies, and Critical Theory at undergraduate and MA level. I have a developed understanding of student needs and tailor my teaching style and content to the academic and temperamental requirements of each student. As a private tutor, I have experience of working with students from as young as 8 up to adult learners in residential and non-residential settings. For example, I have spent three months in Spain and Greece, where I tutored and looked after an eight year old girl. Before this, I lived in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where I was a residential tutor for a 10-year girl and both of her parents. I also provided GCSE revision help and Oxbridge application advice to their 16-year old son. I have extensive experience of tutoring students in London: from age 10 to undergraduate level. For students studying English and related subjects, I will bring my specialist research expertise to the teaching sessions, while being sure to precisely follow the requirements of the student`s academic program and/or exam board.
