I am a passionate linguist and fully qualified teacher, working in a top UK school and with extensive experience of teaching adults, too. I studied French and German at University and have since also learned Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Arabic: languages are my life. I have a PGCE and am completing my Masters in Teaching, so I am well versed in both the latest theoretical research and practical application of language-teaching methods. I am happy to teach my students face to face or online using a variety of platforms: both have their advantages and can add real value to your learning.

I am not a native speaker but this is a genuine advantage: it means I can teach you the language with full understanding of what the challenges are and how to overcome them.

I am flexible in my approach and how you learn will depend on your existing knowledge, preferences, goals and abilities. We can learn via media and film, topical conversation, creative writing and literature... it`s a tailored to you. We will learn grammar in a contextualized and thorough fashion.

- taught both languages, literature and film at all levels
