Clare

Hi my name is Clare. I am a fully qualified teacher with nine years of teaching experience. I currently teach a Year 6 class at a local primary school and hold the position of school senior leader.

I tutor in my spare time because I am passionate about helping children learn and I find it very rewarding watching children`s knowledge grow. I understand that sometimes all an individual needs is another explanation of work, or perhaps a more personal approach to their learning, which is why I offer one to one tutoring as well as group tutoring.

Availability: Wednesday - Friday 5pm -8pm

(Also available through school holidays)

Saturday -10am -1pm

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Throughout my teaching career, I have gained experience in several settings meaning I have great experience teaching and helping children in all subjects. As I specialise in Mathematics, I have a great understanding of the subject so I can teach individuals who struggle with the subject confidently.


Before I started my degree I worked in a number of settings for children such as holiday clubs, out of school clubs and children`s play centres. From this experience I am confident working with children of all ages and possess excellent communication skills with both adults and children.

Additionally, I have a daughter which helps me to understand the importance of a child`s learning from a parent`s point of view.
