Information about Ben
Hi I`m Ben. I have fourteen years experience teaching A Level Music Technology and four years as Head of Music in an OFSTED Outstanding college. I am currently a Pearson/Edexcel Examiner for A Level Music Technology, Pearson Moderator and Private Tutor.
My experience includes teaching and examining Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Music and Music Technology and UAL qualifications. I also have also taught Yamaha and RSL drum kit qualifications and examined Yamaha drum kit Grades.
A music producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist I play Drums, Guitar, Bass and Piano and have years of experience performing live and collaborating with artists as a producer.
From my home studio, I can teach all aspects of Music Technology and support students working with a wide variety of DAWs. I have a great deal of experience and success supporting students through the qualification, this includes support and strategies for achieving highest marks in:

My son was in a bit of a desperate way with 2 months to go before Music Technology A level and not getting any decent advice from school about his coursework and not having covered much of the exam syllabus at school. Ben has been so reassuring and helpful - my son has had 3 lessons so far, he really took to Ben immediately and found his advice very specific and helpful. Finally, he had some decent teaching and feedback to work on - a long list of improvements to make and specific references to chapters in a textbook I hastily bought. All so helpful - my only regret as I have read someone else say is that I didn`t find Ben a year ago, although he might not have been free as he is very busy, I understand why! I found tutorhunt a helpful website to use, safe and secure, easy to pay for the sessions and Ben responds quickly to emails.
