Hi, my name is Adam McDonagh, I went to St. Joseph’s College ‘The Bish’ from 2018 to 2023 in Galway. I’m passionate about education, I loved learning all along my own years. Currently, I’m a student at the University of Manchester studying Dentistry. During university terms, I offer grinds via Zoom and whenever I’m home, I like to do lessons in person. Through also being a rowing coach at home (Ireland), I’ve learned that a thorough approach at the student`s pace works best when tackling new topics and teaching new skills. I’m delighted to be teaching and look forward to meeting any new student!

Experience: I have 100’s of hours teaching lessons done in GSCE maths. Starting out, I helped my younger brother with maths during school, I understood that it can be a tricky topic and cause a lot of frustration. With him doing well, I developed my experience tutoring neighbours and so on. At school, I held study groups where to learn the topic I would teach my friends, along with discussing difficult questions in homework. I really enjoy tutoring and find it to be quite rewarding.
