Currently accepting students. I am the head of humanities at an international school in Spain and an appointed examiner for GCSEs and iGCSEs. I have a detailed knowledge of the requirements for success at GCSE and A-level history. I am a member of the historical association in the UK and attend multiple education congresses throughout the year. I have taught in the UK and Spain, and I have experience teaching both the UK and American systems. Therefore, I have an excellent and up to date understanding of all of the top exam boards.

Experience: I’ve been working as a professional educator since 2013. I have ample experience in preparing students for success. I completed my teacher training at an ‘outstanding’ school in Wales and I am well placed to help students with source analysis and academic writing. I have five years of experience working in international schools. As I often have to teach advanced history to students still learning English, I am highly skilled at presenting challenging topics in an accessible and engaging way. I have worked as a one-to-one tutor since 2013. In addition I am also a certified examiner for Edexcel, this means that I am have direct experience marking GCSE,iGCSE and A-level examinations. I know what the examiners are looking for and I use this experience to improve my students’ examination technique.
