Though I specialise in English (Language and Literature), Philosophy, Philosophy & Ethics, Religious Studies, and Psychology, I am comfortable with the rest of the curriculum up to KS3.
My approach is to tailor tutoring to the individual student`s needs, and to focus on increasing confidence with learning, as well as knowledge of the subject/s.
I am deeply committed to the importance of education, and in engaging students with their own learning. I am a patient, calm, tutor, undaunted by learning or behavioural difficulties - I will work my hardest to ensure improvement in whatever area/s you are concerned with.

CRB/DBS checks must be submitted by an employer, and though I do not have a current one, I have been DBS checked within the last three years, and have no criminal record of any kind.

Availability: My availability changes depending on the number of students I have, and the time of year. I`ll try and work with your availability as best I can, so please get in touch and I`m sure we can arrange something.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Over the last 5 years, I have worked with students as young as 5, and old as 17. My focus is with children up to KS3. I have worked with small groups, and 1 on 1, and am comfortable with either.
I also have experience of students with autism spectrum disorders, language based learning difficulties, and am very comfortable with learning or behavioural difficulties.
