I have been teaching English in Cheshire schools for 32 years, was a deputy head for 10 years and also an education advisor for the 14-19 age group. I currently work part time in a 6th form college but will soon be retiring. I am an examiner for the Cambridge IGCSE English Language, Cambridge A level English language, Cambridge O level English language (international), Eduquas A level English language and AQA GCSE English. In addition to tutoring GCSE English and literature, I have tutored students for KS2 SATS and also for entrance exams. I usually tutor from my house but sometimes can travel to a student’s home.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings from 3.30pm.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught English literature and English language at A level and GCSE for 32 years, across all abilities. I have been tutoring one to one for some time, from KS3 to A level, including entrance exams.
