For the past four years, I have worked in secondary alternative provision, as Inclusion Manager, Designated Teacher for CLA and Safeguarding Officer, supporting children who are reluctant learners and those with SEN and SEMH.
My teaching specialisms are music, maths and English, from KS1 to GCSE.
Availability: Mondays and Tuesdays 3pm onwards.
Fridays - 5pm onwards.
Flexible weekend availability.

Experience: Qualified primary teacher - KS2 specialism. Three years of experience in primary education, starting as a teaching assistant in London and Cumbria.
Four years of secondary alternative provision education. Experience in teaching and pastoral care of students with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs.
Inclusion Manager - managing an in-school alternative provision department, working closely with external alternative provisions, writing risk assessments and individual behaviour plans, leading weekly in-school Inclusion Panel meetings.
Designated Teacher for CLA - supporting CLA students academically and pastorally, as well as their parents / carers, writing PEP and CLA review documentation and attending PEP and CLA reviews, working closely with social workers and external agencies involved in children`s care.
Safeguarding Officer - handling safeguarding issues in school with professionalism and care, liaising with social services duty & advice team if necessary, communicating professionally with parents and carers regarding disclosures made by students and reviewing safeguarding cases during supervision meetings with the school DSL.
