Information about Lisa

I am passionate about teaching and learning. I enjoy working one to one with students to give them the individual attention and encouragement they need to enable them to achieve their best. I have a BA Hons Degree in Philosophy and Literature, an MA in Victorian Studies and a PGCE in Secondary English.

Availability: I am available for private tuition Mon-Fri afternoons and evenings and Saturday morning and afternoon.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have 8 years experience teaching English in schools and colleges in the London and Northamptonshire area. I have taught English Language and English Literature from Key Stage 3 to A Level English Language and Literature and IB. I am also an examiner for GCSE English Literature.

She is very patient. She is a wonderful teacher. She has a lot of experience with non-English speaking students. My daughter`s English is very well now and her scores in English are always A+. So I think I am so lucky to find Mrs Lisa as my daughter`s English teacher.

if there was less than 1 star that is what this tutor deserves. Agreed time and date. then pulled out last min. saying i work i can`t make it. it was waste of our time, now we have gone to another site Tutor First. their tutors are much more professional.Tutor Hunt is a good website some tutors are giving it a bad reputation. Regards
