Greetings.
I am a 51 year old mature graduate in history from The Open University who lives in Coventry UK. I believe that history is one of the most important subjects that we can both learn about and teach. As twentieth century American poet and novelist puts it

"History cannot give us a program for the future, but it can give us a fuller understanding of ourselves, and of our common humanity, so that we can better face the future."

I am fully conversant with all aspects of the secondary education history curriculum at Key Stage 3, GCSE, A/AS level. I am able to offer a friendly supportive tutoring service tailored to your requirements at reasonable fee rates, with a record of success in increasing grade levels.


Face to face tuitions are available within a ten mile radius of Coventry City Centre only

My fee for face to face tuition is £30.00 per hour and for each 30 minute on-line session my fee is £10.00

On-line tutoring takes place via email, file sharing, text and Google Hangout video calls.

Availability: Weekdays 9.00 - 7.30 and Saturdays 10.30 - 15.30. Not available Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: As a mature graduate in history I have gained experience of tutoring history at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A/AS level both as an undergraduate and latterly as a graduate.

My approach to tutoring is entirely dependent on the needs and requirements of the individual student. I do not believe that a single one size fits all approach is the best approach.
