Aa a Cambridge graduate and recently retired Headmaster, I have spent a life time in teaching with experience of exam work at all levels in both private and maintained schools. As Head of History I got outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level and also tutored indicually for exams and university entrance. I have a deep seated respect for History and an enthusiast approach encouraging student engagement. A focused and determined but tolerant manner has enabled me to get the best from both high aiming students and those struggling with the demands of the subject. I can help students believe in themselves and above all my tuition will be interesting.
