I have been studying languages for several years and I have been working as a private tutor whilst I was in college. I got my B.A. in Latin and Ancient Greek from the Universidad Complutense in 2013 and in 2014 I finished my Teaching Qualification at the same university. As complementary training, I attended a course for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I spent some time in 2012 learning French. On the other hand, in regards to my teaching experience -and in addition to being a Teacher Assistant for four months during my Spanish PGCE course- I have been teaching Latin, Ancient Greek and Spanish from 2011 till June of 2014. My current aim in Manchester is to acquire some experience in a teaching environment.

As I have not only studied how to teach Spanish language, but also Latin and Ancient Greek, I have developed the habit of comparing languages and using different grammatical resources to ease up the learning process. At the same time, I think my knowledge of Spanish culture and literature is good enough to pass it on to the pupils. Furthermore, as I am making a daily effort to improve my English, I have become acquainted with many different ways of learning English, and therefore to teach Spanish to others, as well. Besides that, I have been also working outside the teaching environment, which in turn has helped me to improve my abilities to work as part of a team -this could be important to create a proper work atmosphere. Needless to say I have my DBS check and Teacher Reference Number available and I am ready and happy to start as soon as possible.
