Hello! I have recently finished my final year of a Mathematics degree at the University of Leeds, all of which I’ve really enjoyed. Ever since primary school I’ve always had a need to go beyond whatever was on the curriculum, and find out why certain aspects of maths work rather than simply taking them on trust, a skill very much encouraged in university maths. For me this is what makes the subject so uniquely interesting: it is a field in which anyone who knows the rules can build up from the most simple concepts, seeing for themselves step by step how each stage leads on to the next, up to the most complex and beautiful ideas in maths. I have an enhanced DBS check and am able to teach online over Zoom or in-person near to Leeds.

Availability: I will consider all times that are convenient to the student.

Experience: I hold an A* in A Level Mathematics, and have a first class degree from the University of Leeds in the same subject. I have been tutoring for around 2 years online to ages ranging from year 3 up to A level.
