I hold an BA and MA in English Literature from the University of Exeter. I currently work for a high profile charity and offer tuition in my spare time because I love working with young people and sharing my love of literature.

I can work with you on English primary, literature and language GCSE or A level tuition. Students are at the heart of my approach and I always ensure I lead an open pupil-led course of sessions to support you.

I can also help with crafting the perfect personal statement or CV for university or job applications, and offer interview coaching and feedback. I have worked on most exam set texts and my Masters dissertation was on contemporary poetry which is a particular speciality of mine.

My approach is to respond to the needs of the students I work with, finding the best ways to engage them with the material and providing a supportive, encouraging environment for learning.

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Experience: I am an experienced primary and GCSE English literature and language tutor. I have continued to work with most of my students online over the past year, adapting to the current circumstances and supporting them during this challenging period.
