I am a friendly, passionate English and Drama teacher who cares about helping students’ to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Availability: Term time: Weekdays after 4pm, with the possibility of weekends.
Holidays: Can be available most days and times with prior notice.

Experience: I am currently Acting Head of English and Drama at a Gloucestershire Grammar school, teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. I specialise in English Literature and have a track record of helping students beat their target grades. I am happy to work across different exam boards and texts and will help to hone key exam skills and achieve their full potential.

I also mentor at A-Level, especially the Shakespeare units and am able to help develop understanding and enjoyment of the texts.

I am an experienced GCSE and A-Level examiner, giving me useful insight into the most current demands of the exam boards.

I currently teach Eduqas GCSE Literature, Language and Drama, and Edexcel for English Literature A level. I have previous experience of AQA and Edexcel at GCSE.

I always make time to read, enjoy theatre and am an amateur triathlete, DIY enthusiast, and keen cook.
