Information about Helen

I am passionate about Religion, Philosophy and Ethics and dedicate time to ensuring that my own knowledge is up to date. I am familiar with a range of exam boards and am an examiner of three years for Eduqas. I am keen to tutor either A Level Philosophy and Ethics or RE GCSE students as well as Key stage 3 RE and History.

Availability: With the current pandemic, I am happy to offer distance learning support to students. This would include tutoring remotely as well as marking work and offering feedback. I can be flexible as to availability.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I am head of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at a school in North London and have been working as a teacher for six years. I currently teach students at both GCSE and A Level and am confident in helping students to reach their potential in exams. I completed my degree in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at King`s College London and completed both my teacher training and Masters in Education at Cambridge University.

Helen is wonderful. She’s super organised, very approachable and has a lovely manner. My son finds her lessons interesting and fun and his grade is already rising due to her input. Highly recommended.

Helen is a fabulous tutor. She comes on time every week, is committed, with a lesson plan and marks work between lessons. We are delighted to have found her. Thank you.
