Information about Beth
I am a qualified & experienced GCSE English teacher and an A-level Law teacher.
I have an undergraduate degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Birmingham and a Masters in Law in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law, Birmingham. I have completed A-Levels in Law, Psychology and English Literature.
I currently teach at a mixed comprehensive secondary school, teaching English to both KS3 & KS4. I teach both literature and language at GCSE level. I have expertise knowledge for the following texts: Power & Conflict Poetry, An Inspector Calls, Macbeth and A Christmas Carol.
Additionally, I teach A-level Law to year 12 and year 13 students, and I also run revision sessions after school to share revision tools and techniques for those aiming to achieve high grades. I have experience of marking assessments and mock exams, which is something I feel is valuable to improve my practice.
