Hannah

Hi I`m Hannah! I`m a 4th year Pharmacy student at the University of Bath. I am currently working towards my masters degree in the subject.
I`m originally from Bedfordshire, but during term time I live locally in Bath. I believe that I am a trustworthy, approachable and committed individual that would be delighted to help any student in achieving their goals.

I`m studying to be a pharmacist, so I`m confident in explaining biology and chemistry in a friendly way that encourages understanding and incites interest.

Here is my academic history:

University of Bath: Average grade 70 % over the last 3 years.
I`ve also recently completed a research project specialising in pharmaceutics, which I undertook at the University of New Mexico, USA.

A Levels: Chemistry - A
Biology - B
English Literature - B

GCSEs: 5 As and 5A*s in my subjects.


In my spare time I enjoy hiking and sight seeing, playing hockey for the university team and reading.

I`ve undertaken a lot of work experience in local hospitals and pharmacies, so I am fully DBS checked.

Availability: I am very flexible when it comes to availability. I am open to tutor in the evenings Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
If you`re interested in me tutoring for you I am open to schedule on a week to week basis, or set up regular scheduled sessions.

The ideal student for me would be located in the oldfield park area or around Bath city centre.

Experience: At the University of Bath I have taken part in peer mentoring, which involved helping 1st year pharmacy students settle into university. This involved helping them get to grips with both the academic and lifestyle changes during university.

During my time at sixth form, I was a student classroom leader in maths. This involved helping students that were less confident in maths reach a higher grade.
