Information about Carine
I am a French national with a Post Graduate Certificate in Translation (French/Spanish) from The Institute of Translation in Paris (I.S.I.T). I always had a passion for languages and I have been tutoring for many years on a one to one basis or small groups at GCSE and A levels. I also run adult conversation classes for people who wish to maintain their level in French or be able to communicate whilst travelling or on holiday in France. I really enjoy tutoring at all levels and have had very good results over the years at GCSE and AS/A Levels, I like to help students gain confidence in speaking and writing the language.

Experience: I have 10 years experience in tutoring French at GCSE, iGCSE, A and IB levels. I also have a lot of experience in running conversation classes with some of my students gaining excellent fluency in French.

I have been having weekly lessons with Carine for more than a year. She has helped me become one of the best French students in my class. When I first began I could barely speak a sentence in French but now I understand a lot more and can speak almost fluently. Our lessons were fun but we still did lots of work. We foucused mainly on speaking and my French vocabulary but we also did spelling. I received homework which was usually to translate some sentences or to write a paragraph on a certain topic. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons and I recommend Carine to anybody who wants to learn French.

Carine is a fantastic French tutor. Over the course of a year my French has improved dramatically, especially my pronunciation and conversation skills. Conversation has been really useful, especially as Carine is a native French speaker and can immediately correct any errors or mistakes. The lessons have been relaxed, enjoyable and well structured.
Highly recommended!
