I believe that top achievers aren`t just naturally talented. Fundamentally, they all do 3 things: work smart, value feedback and have a drive to reach the very top, even if their current level makes that seem impossible. This forms the basis for my teaching principles:

1. Target weaknesses - We won`t waste time where you are already good, be ready to put consistent practice into the topics where you will benefit most.
2. Encourage creative thinking - Your brain is not a container, it`s a web of connected ideas. So at every opportunity we will explore links to other areas of learning to strengthen understanding.
3. Foster ambition - The primary focus will always be to help you meet your target grade. But I will push you to go further outside your comfort zone and reach your potential.

I have over 10 years of private tutoring experience, at all levels from 11+ all the way to a Masters Psychology student (even outside of my field)! Experience: Professional skills - I am highly skilled with Microsoft Excel for business and data processing, including VBA and macros. I am also fluent in Python and MATLAB and can teach these for upskilling in technical roles.

University degree - I recently graduated a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. So I am confident to teach on the vast majority of degree level topics in any engineering discipline, mathematics or computing.

University admissions - I have had interviews at Oxbridge and took the STEP and MAT papers so happy to coach on these. I am also well-versed in personal statement writing and able to support with all parts of the university application process.

A-Level - I achieved 6 A-Levels (5A*s and 1 A), putting me at the top 0.1% of UK students. 3 of these A-Levels were in Maths, Further Maths and Additional Further Maths, where I did every module they could offer. The other 3 were in Physics, Biology and Chemistry. I have taught many students at this level.

GCSE - I achieved 11A*s and the top UK score in FSMQ additional maths. I will however only teach Maths, Science, Computing and Design Technology at this level.
