I am passionate about teaching Maths and have taught in classrooms and privately for over 10 years. I believe everyone can do it and sometimes the thing that gets in the way is confidence and fear of failure. I can explain and engage minds into the concepts in a fun, relevant and accessible way - I love maths puzzles, riddles and investigations also.
Then once someone `gets it` all that is left is practice to reinforce it and make it stick. I have a wealth of resources I have collected and created such as targeted exam questions aimed at the different grades and levels so students can understand exactly what knowledge is needed to progress.
I have a PGCE in Secondary Maths and a proven track record including working as part of a team to gain the 2nd most improved maths results in the country at a comprehensive school in 2009. I have been OFSTEDed many times as `Outstanding`.
Availability: Evenings Mon - Fri and sometimes weekends.
