I am an English tutor with over 3 years experience working with students from KS1 up to and including KS4. I started out voluntarily, working with the Charitable organisation `Action Tutoring` to improve the exam competency of children with developmental difficulties in London before deciding to qualify as a teacher. I have a PGCE offer starting in September with Brunel University in Secondary English.

As a requirement for my teaching career, I completed a Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) Course in English Language and Literature in 2022 for a period of 6 months. I completed over 600 hours of learning and assessment with regard to the GCSE syllabus (across all exam providers), covering all major exam texts (Poetry, Drama, Novels, Plays).

Comprehensive and thoroughly up-to-date understanding of Key Assessment Objectives; experience with exam style marking and feedback; high competency preparing students to meet a range of scenarios across all the 4 papers students will sit in the Summer (Language 1&2, Literature 1&2).

I work with Atom Learning and currently active with 16 students across Y5/6-11.

Availability: I am available in person or online during the week (and evenings) alongside morning sessions on Saturday until the end of the year 2023.
