Hello,
I have just graduated from Sussex University with a 2:1 in a History BA and will begin my training as a secondary school History teacher as of September. I am passionate about helping people to find joy in their learning and would love the opportunity to help a student with their studies and aid them in their progress. I am an organised, dependable and bubbly person who would go the extra mile to ensure that every student fulfills their own potential. As well as my degree in Modern History, I studied English (Literature and Language) Philosophy of Religion, Performing Arts and Drama at A Level. I feel confident in tutoring any student of A level and below in History or GCSE and below in English based subjects. Availability: I am available from the 23rd June 2015 until mid August and will be largely flexible during this summer period, except for a few short holidays. I would also be willing to consider continuing lessons after September alongside my teacher training if the conditions were suitable.

Experience: Although I have not previously worked as a one to one tutor, I have volunteered as a teaching assistant in a secondary school and will be starting my career as a secondary school history teacher as of September. I feel this is a great advantage to myself (as I will gain valuable experience of how students learn) and to the student, as I will approach every lesson with attention to detail, great enthusiasm and cater to the students individual needs. Essentially, the student and myself can learn together, making our time more meaningful and successful.
