Hello my name is Shireen, I am an experienced English teacher with over 11 years teaching experience (three years Curriculum Lead). My teaching is creative and dynamic and I am totally committed to making a difference. I currently work full-time teaching English at a PRU, and I`m also the Curriculum Lead for two alternative provisions. At the moment I am on maternity leave and can offer flexible tutoring online hours.

Tutoring sessions combine tailored interventions specific to your child`s needs and a convenient and relaxed way for your child to enjoy learning and achieve to the best of their ability. I have a full DBS certificate, which is available on request.

Shireen tutored my 16 year old daughter for several weeks in the latter stages of her GCSE Revision phase (for English Language).
I was thoroughly impressed by Shireen`s professionalism and the support she gave, as my daughter was quite emotional and anxious at times.
Although results are not yet available, I`m confident that the guidance and tips Shireen gave will have helped my daughter to achieve a higher grade than she otherwise would have done.

My son is a lot more confident after just having the first three sessions. Great tutor to get your child back to basics and for them to believe in themselves.
