Information about Veronika
I`m a Slovak native speaker with master`s degree in Slovak language and qualified teacher status (fully recognised in the UK) and years of experience in teaching both adults and children.
Availability: Evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 1 miles
Experience: I have years of experience as a teacher, having taught private lessons, group lessons, and being a teacher in both primary and secondary schools. My students` abilities range from complete beginners, through intermediate and advanced. I have been also helping people with paperwork and legalities in Slovakia to overcome the language barrier.

Top marks for Veronika. She is a joy to work with. She is always well prepared for lessons and puts in a lot of work behind the scenes. She knows Slovak grammar well and can explain it. And because she`s lived in the UK for a while, she knows the problems English speakers have with Slovak. Lessons are fun and friendly. I`m a linguist myself so I know how difficult it is to find someone who can teach languages well. Would I recommend Veronika? Definitely! Give it a go!

I`ve now had my 4th lesson with Veronika and would highly recommend this Tutor.
I was initially a little bit dubious to how one-to-one tutoring would work, especially as I can only meet on-line. No Slovakian tutors or lessons in my area, but any worries or concerns I had soon disappeared once my first lesson started.
I find Veronika professional, very well organised, and of course an extremely good Tutor.
I chose Veronika because she is a native speaker, educated to master degree level in her language and is a qualified teacher, and I`ve not been disappointed.
From the beginning of our first lesson Veronika has adapted and changed the structure and content of our lessons to take into account my ability, or inability to learn.
Before I started been tutored by Veronika, I had been trying to learn Slovak on my own for quite a while, but all I had learned was some words and I could paraphrase some expressions, but did not have any real understanding of the Slovak language or how to construct sentences.
However, with just 4 lessons from Veronika I feel I`ve learn`t so much more than I could have imagined. I am now already starting to construct sentences from just learning a few verbs, and have an understanding of gender and how words change depending on this, its amazing!
My aim is to be able to converse confidently in Slovak, and I am sure I am going to achieve this aim because of the effort and time Veronika puts into my lessons.
I know this is going to take a while but I definitely now know its achievable, so if you are thinking of learning Slovak I would highly recommend Veronika, you will not be disappointed.
