Hi, I’m Lloyd and I am a qualified primary school teacher, specialising in music having experience in delivering reading and maths intervention.

I currently teach in a special educational needs classroom with 16 7-11 year olds with moderate learning difficulties and focus my teaching around their differing needs

My lessons include fun and out-of-the-box ways to teach and engage children who otherwise struggle with standard classroom lessons.

My most recent experience in this is in providing a catch-up reading club for groups of year 2 children who’s reading attainment was below the level they needed.

I am also able to tutor guitar and ukulele holding a Ba(Hons) degree in professional musicianship. I am comfortable in tutoring advanced music theory and composition up to A Level using DAWs such as Sibelius, Muse Score, Logic and GarageBand.

Experience: I am a qualified primary school teacher of 4 years and am currently working in a moderate learning difficulties class working with children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, ADHD, Aspergers and spina bifida amongst other learning difficulties. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher with experience teaching an ESL child who also has suspected autism.

I have vast experience working with different age ranges including early years, foundation phase, key stage 2 and key stage 3.
