Information about Benedict

I am a Kings College School graduate and soon to be student an Oxford University, willing to teach Maths, Sciences, French, German and English up to a GCSE level. I have always been quick to grasp concepts and ideas and relish helping others improve their understanding.

I am convinced that all areas of the curriculum can be exciting and comprehensible to anyone, as long as they themselves feel like they understand the ideas at play, not just rote rules. I will always seek to communicate the concept at hand first as intuitively and simply as possible, and then make sure that the understanding is watertight by using questions and practice, with specific reference to mark schemes.

I have been teaching younger students for many years, mainly in Debating, to children within and outside of King`s College School Wimbledon, with all range of ability and familiarity, many of whom have gone on to be successful members of the school debating society. I have also given informal assistance to younger peers within the school with anything they had been struggling with in classes in a wide range of subjects.
