Information about Razia

I am a dedicated science teacher specialising in Biology and Chemistry. I tailor my lessons according to the pupil’s needs and ability. If you are struggling to understand the subject and are not achieving your aspiring grade, then I can work with you to build a strong foundation. I will also aim to challenge and stretch you to reach your maximum potential.

In a typical lesson I will use a range of different resources including worksheets, exam questions and animations etc. I will mark the exam questions giving constructive feedback and follow up questions. Understanding how exam questions work and having the ability to breakdown what the question is asking makes a significant difference. Hence why I aim to translate this skill to my students.

Experience: I am currently a chemistry teacher at an outstanding school. I have been teaching since 2018 and I have been tutoring since 2016. I have a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Royal Holloway University London, a Masters in Cancer from UCL and PGCE from UCL.

I have experience teaching KS3 Science, KS4 Biology and Chemistry, A-level Biology and BTEC Applied Science.
