I am a finishing PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bath, working in collaboration with the UK Met Office. I obtained a first-class Masters in Mathematics from the University of Bath, studying both pure and applied modules. I have over 5 years experience tutoring at a university level, as well as experience in one-to-one tuition.

At the University of Bath, I have been employed as an academic tutor for 5 years. Within this role, I tutor a class of around 15 first-year undergraduates in topics generally related to calculus. I have received excellent feedback from my tutees and I enjoy sharing my passion of mathematics and its utility in the real world with my students. I feel I am able to offer another perspective on many topics so that you can finally overcome the areas in which you have been struggling.

We will structure lessons in order that they are constructive, and gradually build up and strengthen areas which have been proving difficult. To this end, the lessons will be tailored to you and your specific needs in the subject.

Experience: - Over 5 years experience (since September 2015) providing university level tutorials to first-year undergraduates at the University of Bath in a course primarily based around differential and integral calculus.

- Provided one-to-one tuition of a Master`s student at the University of Bath in modules relating to numerical modelling.

- Strong skills in the Python programming language gained over the course of my PhD.

- University of Bath (2012 - 2016): First Class MMath(Hons) Masters in Mathematical Sciences with a study year abroad at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France.
