Information about Amy

I am a passionate, enthusiastic individual with a great level of expertise in English Literature and English Language. I have a masters degree in English that specializes in the Victorian period. I have an approachable, inclusive style of teaching that is sufficiently flexible enough to cater for a diverse range of learning styles, needs and requirements. I have the ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance using effective goal-setting strategies.

I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals.

Availability: I am available most evenings and after school, from 16:30. This is updated on a weekly basis.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: BA (hons) in English and a MA (masters) in English- specialising in the Victorian period. This is particularly helpful for GCSE & A-Level/ university students who wish to learn more about the 19th century that is in their English exams.

I have tutored various students with various different exam boards. Students have ranged from 14-18.
