Rudabeh

Hello! My name is Rudabeh, I’m 25, and based in West London. I graduated from Oxford University with a first class degree in English Language and Literature in 2020 and just graduated this September from a two-year MA at SOAS in Iranian Studies and Intensive Persian. I am an experienced and passionate tutor and during the last seven years have tutored students from 11+ up to Oxbridge entrance exams.

Experience: 11+
I have tutored many pupils for the 11+ entrance exam over the years. It`s an exam format I feel incredibly familiar and comfortable with!

GCSE
I`ve spent this last year (September 2020-present) tutoring a student for his English GCSE. Tutoring him the whole way through his Year 11 has been an unbelievably rewarding experience and I feel I know the GCSE inside out now! I`m excited to reach the finish line with him in a month or so.

A-Level
Similar to GCSE, I`ve been tutoring A Level this year. It`s a real pleasure to work with someone who`s actively chosen to study English and to explore more complex texts together.

Oxbridge Entrance
Having gone to Oxford, I know the application process very well and have greatly enjoyed helping students to prepare for their ELAT and discuss texts more broadly in order to help prepare them for the gruelling interviews.

General
More generally, I`ve tutored students in non exam years (ie not 11+, GCSE, or A-Level) and enjoyed being able to work on reading skills more generally without an exam focus. As an avid reader, helping any student develop their relationship to books is always a pleasure.
