I offer GCSE tuition in English Language and Literature.

I have a 2:1 class degree in English Literature from Liverpool John Moore`s University.

I have 3 A Levels in English Literature, English Language and Media Studies.
I currently work as a KS4 English Intervention SAHL in a secondary school.

I offer GCSE tutoring (English Literature and English Language) - this can be 1:1 or in pairs. I tend to have 2 maximum as larger groups I feel is not as beneficial.

At my current school we used the Eduqas exam board. However, I am also familiar with AQA and Edexcel.

Availability: Monday - 4.30 onwards
Wednesday - 4.30 onwards
Thursday 4.30 onwards
Friday - 4pm onwards

Can be more flexible on the odd occasion.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have worked as a KS4 English Intervention SAHL for 5 years. I mainly work with Year 10 and 11 students who are working towards their GCSE.

During the academic year of 2013-2014 I tutored a girl who studied AQA English who achieved an A grade in her GCSE exam.

The most recent academic year I tutored several students who were studying WJEC English Language and Literature - one achieved an A in English Language and a B in English Literature. One achieved 2 Cs.
I also tutored two girls together on WJEC English Literature - both achieving an A grade.

Every student I have tutored has achieved their target grade or above.
