I am assistant Head of Mathematics at a local secondary school with responsibility for developing schemes of learning and resources.
I am an examiner/marker of GCSE maths (Edexcel and OCR) as well as KS2 SATS marker.

I specialise in working with students at all levels of ability. I am constantly told that I make students believe they can achieve within maths.

My philosophy on maths is that everyone can learn to do maths well and it is important to celebrate mistakes and build confidence.

I have 100% pass rate at Grade C/4 and above. In 2017, 38% of of my students achieved Grade 7+ and one student attained a Grade 9.

In 2018, from my 2 year 11 classes, 95% of my students achieved grade 4 above, with many grade 7`s.

I am up-to-date date with the current Schemes of Work and Exam syllabus.

I have an enhanced CRB.
