Information about Elin
I`m Elin, a recent Cambridge University graduate. I graduated with a degree in Biological Natural Sciences in 2019. In my final year at Cambridge I specialised in Conservation and Ecology in the Department of Plant Sciences. Throughout my years at Cambridge I created a vast supply of revision tools, that I use to amplify my students` knowledge and learning experience.
I`ve always loved teaching, and I have experience with tutoring students at GCSE and A Level, both in person and online. In 2016 I was a volunteer teaching assistant in GCSE classes. I`ve also worked as a university applications guidance counsellor, helping students with their personal statements.
My main tutoring focus is in Biology, but I am also willing to tutor Chemistry at GCSE level, and general Science at GCSE and below.
Availability: Available at 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.

I`ve wanted to post a review for a while but I thought I`d wait until I got my results back from my biology exam before writing one. I had ten days to do a biology GCSE equivalency exam and I booked three sessions with Elin of an hour each. I was struggling with a few parts of the syllabus so for each lessons, Elin prepared thorough presentations that catered to my specific needs. She would send me the presentations before the lessons so I could go through them and then during the lessons she would clear up anything that I was confused with. Elin could do this by explaining complex things in a clear and concise way, making it easy to understand. For the third lesson, due to network problems, the lesson over google classroom was impossible, so Elin spent the hour writing up notes to the things she had planned to cover in that lesson, which she sent through email, along with the resources she had prepared, for some last minute cramming. I passed the exam with 83% and Elin was a huge help in my grade. In fact, in the presentation that she sent in my third lesson, some of her notes actually came up in the exam. 10/10 would recommend.
