I am a positive, encouraging and patient teacher who really enjoys seeing my students be successful. I use a variety of approaches in teaching to ensure students make progress but also enjoy learning because they are having fun! I have been teacher for 30 years and am an AQA GCSE examiner, have been an A-Level examiner and currently am also an IB examiner. I spend part of my week teaching in a secondary school in Surrey and the other half teaching in primary schools so I am in a perfect position to help KS2 students as well as KS3/4/5 students.

Availability: I am currently available every day except Sunday.

Experience: I am an experienced teacher and IB examiner/moderator as well as an AQA GCSE examiner. I have been teaching for 30 years including 10 years in international schools. I have been Head of Department at numerous schools and I have taught both GCSE and A-Level/ IB French and Spanish for the whole of my teaching career. I also teach English to GCSE and spend 3 days a week teaching in Primary schools in Surrey. I have also tutored children who intend to sit the 11+ exam (my specialisms are the Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning papers) so please get in touch if you need help for your son or daughter.
