Hello, my name is Anna, and I am a passionate and experienced primary school teacher based in South West London. With over a decade of teaching experience across EYFS and KS1, I specialize in phonics, early reading, handwriting, creative writing, and KS1 maths. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

What I Offer
I provide tailored online and in-person tutoring to support children in:

Phonics: Helping children build strong foundational reading skills, including preparation for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Test.
Maths: Making KS1 maths engaging and accessible for young learners.

Experience: I’m a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher and tutor based in South West London. With 13 years of experience in primary education, I’ve worked across a variety of roles, including:
I am currently Year 2 class teacher
6 years as a Reception teaching assistant,
3 years as a Reception class teacher, and
3 years as a Year 1 teacher.
I specialize in phonics, early reading, handwriting, creative writing, and KS1 maths, and I’m passionate about helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Tutoring Experience
In addition to my teaching background, I have extensive experience as a tutor:

Delivered phonics interventions for children in Years 2–5, helping to close learning gaps and boost confidence.
Worked with a tutoring agency in Balham for two years, providing tailored maths and English support to Year 2 and Year 3 students.
Recently gained expertise in preparing students for the 7+ English exam, including invigilating and marking these exams.
