Information about Elliott
I have recently finished my PGCE qualification to teach physics from Oxford University.
I am also a graduate from Imperial College London, where I obtained a degree in theoretical physics. Mathematics and physics have long been passions of mine and I plan to be a physics teacher starting in 2021.
Although clearly every approach to tutoring will be adapted to the student, I will always focus on improving confidence, practical understanding and enjoyment, while keeping in mind that ability in the final exam is essential.
Availability: Currently flexible during any weekday 10-4, and some availability weekday evenings, but just send me a message and I`ll let you know exact times!

Experience: Through school, my subsequent degree and my PGCE course I have proven to have a personal experience of good studying and revision. I have previously tutored 15 students ranging from year 7 to year 13.

Elliott worked regularly (most weeks) with my son covering mostly Physics, but also some maths, during Y11 in preparation for GCSEs. Teaching at school was inconsistent, with no specialised physics teacher for all of Y10, and my son was not enjoying physics in particular. Weekly sessions were helpful particularly in stimulating interest, building knowledge and preparing for exams. My son has gone on to do A-level Physics. Thanks Elliott.

Elliott is a wonderful tutor! He helped me so much with A-level Physics and broke down difficult concepts into easier bits to understand them better. I had tons of questions to ask during the lesson, and he was always kind enough to guide me on the right path. When I didn`t understand something, he always adapted his method of teaching so I could understand it :) His explanations are always concise and simple - I would 10/10 recommend him!

Moving to Sixth Form in grammar school, our son experienced difficulties and depression from his own knowledge/performance in Further Math and Physics, the rest of the students were very well prepared and organised. With Elliott`s support our son started to be more confident in both subjects. He likes Elliott`s problem explanation and resolving methods. We received very good news, our son`s predicted A-level grades are as A*A* for both subjects. Thank you Elliot !!!
