Hello
My name is Katie - am based in the North London area and am happy to come to you and/or you to me.
Have a deep love of teaching Mathematics and would love to assist you on your learning journey.
I`m passionate about understanding how children and young people learn and assimilate information.
The key aspect of my approach is working together - if I do not feel that I am being effective or vice versa, or I can sense it’s not ‘right’ then I will tell you.
First lesson is always free on that basis.
I have a proven track record of students who have been successful.
Availability: I am available to suit you now, having recently retired
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: My preference is GCSE / A level preferably higher ability students
I am a qualified teacher with a few extra strings to my bow.
I have been in the profession for over 40 years and will support you to suit your own style/needs.

Katy built my confidence up in Maths. We did lots of exam questions and she pushed me so I wouldn’t feel as nervous in an exam. She is very friendly and positive and really put me at ease. She would change our days so that we could have a lesson the night before my exams which I I really appreciated. My Mum will use Katy again for my younger sister in a few years.

Katy is a fantastic teacher, very patient and good at explaining things. My daughter really enjoyed her lessons and Katy really helped her gain confidence in maths. I would recommend Katy to anyone.
