Hi! My name is Kieran and I have a first class degree in Politics and International Relations alongside a Masters in International Political Theory from the University of St. Andrews. I am currently a PhD student in International Relations at The University of St. Andrews and the Director of E-International Relations - the world`s leading open-access online international relations journal for students and scholars of international relations with over 6 Million individual readers worldwide. I have tutored students in Politics, History, International Relations and Philosophy since 2015 at a range of levels, from GCSE to Undergraduate Studies. I am yet to have a student go on to fail a course after employing me, even when hired with students on a U level. Equally, I have a history of achieving results for students, for example, that came to me with a D and went on to receive A*s. I am experienced at delivering an engaging and interactive teaching style to get the best results from the student, placing their needs and interests at the forefront of my individualised teaching approach.

I enjoy teaching and I have a lot of passion for my respective fields of study; a passion I have often been told rubs off on my students. I place the student at the centre of my teaching methods, and as such my specific approach adapts depending on the student in question. This means that sessions would be tailored to your needs and would not simply be going through a textbook. I really do believe that this allows the student to get the best out of themselves and attempt to really grasp the subject in order to learn, but more importantly - to think. Indeed, with me, you get a tutor who loves what they do and who truly cares.

Experience: In the past I have taught Politics, International Relations, History and Philosophy at a range of levels: GCSE, A-Level and for University students. At GCSE and A-Level, with expertise in International Politics, I am best equipped to teach modules on ideology, international politics, modern history and modern/post-modern philosophy. Nevertheless, I am extremely competent and keep up to date with the GCSE and A-Level syllabuses, not to mention academic journals - no matter how often they change.

I have tutored since I was 15, first with Maths and English to younger children, then History when I was older. Equally, throughout university I was a `peer mentor`, in which I helped other students with their political studies. Since beginning higher education, my tutoring experience has sky-rocketed, rarely going a day without tutoring in Politics, Philosophy or History. Additionally, since receiving my masters, tutoring has become a central part of my life, helping dozens of students receive their A*s, As and Bs, alongside Firsts and 2:1s.
