Agnes

I am Agnes, a multilingual language teacher and linguist. I graduated in Hungary at one of the greatest and oldest universities of the country, in Pécs. I have been teaching and translating Hungarian, English, and Russian for 25 years. During my university studies, I qualified as an ESL teacher, studied language teaching methodology, and completed multiple courses on providing effective lessons while maintaining student motivation. Over the past 25 years, I have taught languages through one-on-one lessons and group courses for up to 22 students. I offer in-person lessons in the Birmingham area and online lessons for students worldwide. I have prepared dozens of students for IELTS exams, university entrance exams, and state language exams. I use course books supplemented with lesson plans I have collected and developed myself.

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their language goals. I believe in a personalized approach that caters to individual learning styles. My methodology emphasizes the practical application of language skills, using a blend of course books and custom-developed lesson plans to ensure comprehensive understanding and engagement. I am committed to helping students excel in exams and real-world communication by maintaining high motivation and providing effective, tailored instruction both in person and online.
