Information about Erin
I am a creative, highly motivated and hardworking postgraduate who has recently graduated with a 1st class integrated masters (MSci Human Biology) from the University of Birmingham due to start my PGCE in September 2021. I have experience tutoring students from KS2 to degree level, specialising in KS3, GCSE and A level science. I plan ahead of the lessons, make them fun and engaging and tailor them to the individual pupil`s needs.
During my masters I won the Royal Society of Biology accredited "Top Project Award" for my research into comparative anatomy in non-mammalian tetrapods. I have a background in biology (specifically anatomy, physiology, evolution and microbiology) and also work as a self-employed artist. This means that I am excellent at developing models and creative displays to help understanding. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and thrive both in a team environment and in a leadership role. I hold a UK driving license and an enhanced DBS check.
