I am a qualified Primary School Teacher currently in my fifth year of teaching. I have been working in a school as a Year 2 teacher for five years now, but also have experience in Year 1, Year 4, Year 5 and have worked in a Nursery/Montessori too. I have administered both Year 2 SATS and Year 1 Phonics screening (where we achieved a 100% pass success) and have a secure understanding of the skills and abilities children need to progress throughout Key Stage 1, and early Key Stage 2.
Availability: As I work full time, I would be avaliable in the evenings (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and during the weekend too.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have an undergraduate degree (2:1) in Psychology from the University of East Anglia, and a PGCE from Kingston University.
During the summer holidays, I worked as a sales assistant in a school uniform shop for 5 years, where i interacted with childen from nursery-sixth form. Whilst preparing for my PGCE, I have gained experience in over 10 schools, from academies to independent schools.
I am fully DBS checked.
