I am a specialist in Business Education rated as outstanding by Ofsted and an Advanced Level Examiner for both AQA Business and AQA Economics. I previously worked at a leading independent North East Day & Boarding School and I now work at another independent school in the North East together with teaching online internationally. I do not always have my advertisement live on here as I often have no availability as I get a lot of business from referrals from previous clients.

My most recent A level class students collectively attained 21 A level grades higher than predicted.

Last year I tutored two A level Economics students and 2 A level Business Students.

I teach students across the academic spectrum to attain significant added value at GCSE and Advanced level in both coursework based and exam based courses through a very deep and broad understanding of the subject and highly developed skills in assessment.

I currently have a student I see every second Monday evening, so once per fortnight on the alternative Monday may be possible, depending on distance from the Tyne Bridge starting at 6.30pm onward

I have travelled up to 40 miles from my home - but 40 miles was not an option below.

Experience: I am a confident, passionate and motivated teacher of Business having had nineteen years’ experience in teaching Business, Economics and ICT up to A level, following courses leading to both terminal exams and courses that are predominantly coursework based such as GNVQ, BTEC & Double Award Applied Business. I have experience of teaching students from a range of backgrounds with varying levels of motivation and behaviour. Additionally, I have ten years’ experience in an educational management role, focused on the academic attainment and behaviour of a year group, together with seven years’ experience marking and assessing the marking of other teacher at GCSE and A level as a team leader and A Level Applied Business Studies moderator. I am currently and have been an Advanced level examiner for AQA for 4 years. My banking background provides me with the ability to enhance my teaching with real life business examples.
