I am a friendly and approachable English language tutor for adults including university students. I specialise in helping students improve their IELTS scores and develop their academic writing. Many of my students have gone on to study their chosen courses at university and/or pass their challenging academic coursework. Whether you need support in taking the IELTS exam or writing support for your college or university assignments, I can help you.

I also offer General English lessons to improve your confidence in speaking English and your career prospects. We will cover English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. My lessons are engaging and interesting and I aim to where possible use materials tailored to a student`s particular interests.

Availability: All weekdays (day time) and Monday and Thursday evenings.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have almost 10 years of experience teaching IELTS and General English to foreign students age 18+ at college and university level. I have also taught British and international students at Coventry University, helping them improve their academic writing.I have tutored many individual students and taught English classes at Coventry University and Cardiff and Vale College, Wales.
