Information about Juan

Hi! I come originally from Colombia but have lived for the last 10 years in Switzerland, where I completed high school and my undergraduate degree in chemistry. I studied chemistry at the ETH in Zurich which is a top-ten university in this area. My studies included not only chemistry but also advanced maths, physics and biology. Now I am absolving a master in chemistry in the area of catalysis at Imperial College London. I am a very friendly, patient and flexible teacher who can teach a wide scope of subjects. I do a lot of sports, in particular football, tennis and skiing. I am able to teach any level of chemistry (including university level) and maths, physics, Spanish, German and biology from primary school to A-levels. I am also able to give tennis and skiing lessons.

Availability: I am available almost every evening and some mornings, depending on my lectures and football trainings. I am also available on weekends.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: During my undergraduate studies I worked as a private maths, physics and chemistry tutor and also as a maths teacher at an organization called "LOGOS", which offers courses to prepare children for the Zurich departmental high school entry test. At the ETH I also worked as a lab assistant, where I conducted chemistry experiments and held chemistry lessons with first year students studying environmental sciences. I have given Spanish, tennis and skiing lessons to friends and family but never in a professional way.
